Dr. Barnhart was born in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Ohio State College of Optometry. His clinical rotations allowed him to gain experience in pediatrics, contact lenses, low vision, and geriatrics.

If you’ve been to Eudora Eye Care more than once, there’s a good chance I remember you—and probably your spouse, your kids, what glasses you bought last time, and at least one other detail you mentioned in passing. My coworkers like to say that people’s information lives rent-free in my head, and honestly, they’re not wrong.

I joined the team in 2024. Usually you will find me in the testing room taking “glamour shots” of your eyes or hear me saying “don't blink, don't move”. I have lived in Eudora for more than 20 years with my family. I enjoy being outside whenever I can, traveling or doing one of my many crafts.

I have recently joined the Eudora Eye Care team part-time. I retired from education after 30 years, 14 years as a classroom teacher and 16 years as a reading specialist. I am loving my retirement and the opportunity it has given me to be more present with my family. My husband, Steve, and I have two adult children, two daughters in-law, and two granddaughters. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playdates with Stevie and Valerie, reading, playing golf, and going on walks. I am very excited to be a part of the team at Eudora Eye Care!

Pam has been part of the Eudora Eye Care team since 2013. While Fridays may be a little quieter in the office, Pam makes sure things keep moving behind the scenes. She answers our phones, helps with appointment reminders, and is always happy to help patients when they stop by to pick up their orders.
